- Nose
- Toast with raspberry jam, for breakfast by the sea.
- Palate
- Almond croissants. Darjeeling tea.
- Finish
- A bit sandy. It's a windy day.
- Comment
- Not as elegant and complex as some in this flight, but the breakfast it evoked was hearty and delicious.

- Nose
- Rich dried fruit wafts above underlying toastiness, brioche with fruit sauce, then vanilla, créme brûlée and apple skins emerge mid-way.
- Palate
- Rich gingerbread, brioche, baked apples with vanilla sauce and cloves, while underlying toastiness continues with digestive biscuits.
- Finish
- Fruity, malty combination, toastiness lingers.
- Comment
- Softly spoken but plenty to say, being elegantly delicate but delivering real range.
