Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Toast with raspberry jam, for breakfast by the sea. Palate Almond croissants. Darjeeling tea. Finish A bit sandy. It’s a windy day. Comment Not as elegant and complex as some in this flight, but the breakfast it evoked was hearty and delicious.

Ian Wisniewski Nose Rich dried fruit wafts above underlying toastiness, brioche with fruit sauce, then vanilla, créme brûlée and apple skins emerge mid-way. Palate Rich gingerbread, brioche, baked apples with vanilla sauce and cloves, while underlying toastiness continues with digestive biscuits. Finish Fruity, malty combination, toastiness lingers. Comment Softly spoken but plenty to say, being elegantly delicate but delivering real range.
