Nose
Biscuity. Shortbreads. Oak comes through. Tangerine, orange icecream. Rum toffee. Palate
Delicate sweet maltiness at start. Orange blossom. Wood is well integrated. Vanilla mascarpone mousse. Finish
Long, lingering, with a citrus touch and ginger in the back. Comment
A well-balanced dram, as malty as fruity with a luscious toffee tempting character.
Dave Broom
Nose
Bread mix/malted grain still steaming from the oven. Rich with peach stone. With water a bung cloth note, eccles cake, stewed milky tea. Palate
Flowers, privet then bread flour. Moves increasingly towards this dusty dry malty note. Finish
Raisin. Comment
A bit flabby and dry.
