Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Biscuity. Shortbreads. Oak comes through. Tangerine, orange icecream. Rum toffee. Palate Delicate sweet maltiness at start. Orange blossom. Wood is well integrated. Vanilla mascarpone mousse. Finish Long, lingering, with a citrus touch and ginger in the back. Comment A well-balanced dram, as malty as fruity with a luscious toffee tempting character.

Dave Broom Nose Bread mix/malted grain still steaming from the oven. Rich with peach stone. With water a bung cloth note, eccles cake, stewed milky tea. Palate Flowers, privet then bread flour. Moves increasingly towards this dusty dry malty note. Finish Raisin. Comment A bit flabby and dry.
