Nose
Enticing. Cloved orange. Moth balls. A touch of old leather armchair. Shoe polish. Smoky. Cold ashtray. A marine hint. Palate
Sherry. A bit cardboardy. Distant coaltar. Date chutney. Getting bitter. Oak speaks out. Finish
Dry, bitter. Comment
The nose is more interesting than the palate. A full bodied character which has flirted a bit too long with wood. Might suit cigar palates.
Dave Broom
Nose
Dullish green rim. Dried sage and lavender/parma violet, seashore. water increases the perfume lavender eau de toilette. Palate
Soapy and sweet though with plenty of smoke trying to cover it up. A peat fire in a lady’s bathroom? Finish
Nutty yet tacky. Comment
This is where Bowmore was stuck for too long.
