Nose
Fruity and flowery. Strawberry jam. Muscat grapes. Palate
Smooth, round. Velvety. Sweet fruitiness balanced by a refreshing sourness. Very pleasant and refined. Fruit gums. Blackcurrant. Liquorice. Finish
Long, balanced, pleasantly spicy. Comment
A beautifully combined aromatic display with a caressing texture. Delicious.
Dave Broom
Nose
Deep and mature. Tarte tatin cinnamon stick. Fleshy and ripe with peaches, quince, cedar and complex. Sweet and rich. Palate
Totallly different to the nose. Here it is all about suede leather fragrant pipe smoke and ripe soft fruits. A teasing whisky with great length. Oddly exotic. Finish
Liquorice and treacle, then sweet. Comment
Plump. A pudding whisky. Excellent.
