- Nose
- Fragrant. Almond milk. Orange pekoe tea. Some yeasty notes. Creamy toffee with water.
- Palate
- Sweet start, the alcohol bite tickles. Pleasant toffee flavours, a touch of candied lemon peel. Still burning with water.
- Finish
- Hot, spicy. Tabasco.
- Comment
- The high strength makes it difficult to tame even with water. Some like it hot. But my palate waves a white flag.

- Nose
- High alcohol. Limoncello light wood (ash) camomile/scented grass then guava and mandarin. Slightly vegetal.
- Palate
- Sweet and concentrated with clove, kumquat and a hint of clove.
- Finish
- Long and spicy.
- Comment
- Manages to corral a number of disparate flavours well.
