Dave Broom
70- Nose
- Damp hay and coal dust with some farmyard notes. Cheese rind and penetrating alcohol. Sulphurous.
- Palate
- Biscuity, then liquorice soon overtaken by a dank note like a wet cellar. Lacks mid-palate oomph.
- Finish
- Suddenly appears to improve, but then the sulphur returns.
- Comment
- I find it a little grubby.

75- Nose
- Butter, kiwi, apples and peardrops. Spritzy with grapefruit and lime, but a little sharp and bordering on metallic. An ovaltiney background and a sweet egginess, like custard tarts.
- Palate
- A robust cereal character, plums, vanilla and some nutmeg.
- Finish
- Milk chocolate.
- Comment
- Put off slightly by that combination of sharpness and sweet egg, but pleasant enough.
