Dave Broom
Nose
High nose burn and another which is a bit reluctant to open. Musky, wet leaves. Seems mature but also quite piercing.
Palate
Another which disappoints on the palate. A slight clinging quality with some sweet citrus notes, but overall it is light and short.
Finish
Little soapy.
Comment
A shy little furry woodland creature peeking out, then hiding again.

Nose
Pears, lemon pith, soap suds and Swizzler lollies. With water more floral with a fragrant apple note like a Pink Lady. Almonds, Battenburg and a fading bouquet of lilies. A bit flat.
Palate
Sweet, with floral, some nectarine and a dried hay flavour. Thin.
Finish
Drying, with grassiness and oat biscuits.
Comment
A bit dull, and there’s no excuse for dull whisky.
