Dave Broom
Nose
Peculiar. Damp horse blankets, wet wood, light smoke, slightly fungal.
Palate
Better than the nose with light grip. Sandalwood, old apples and tobacco, malt extract. Then it becomes light and fragrant before the darkness of the woods creeps back in.
Finish
Lit cigar.
Comment
It’s a cad pursuing an innocent girl. The big bad wolf after little Red Riding Hood.

Nose
Woody. Fresh pine sawdust. Spirity with a faint cheesy note. Goat cheese in olive oil and thyme. Wet dog;
Palate
Sweet and oaky. Quite tangy. Chili and the bitter taste of pepper.
Finish
Dry, bitter, warm.
Comment
Wood, wood, wood… And this cheesy note does not improve the aromatic profile. Water enhances the bitterness.
