- Nose
- Earthy, musty. Pine sap. Joiner workshop. Slightly prickly. Opens on creamier notes. Chocolate fudge. Hint of citrus fruit. Water brings out floral notes.
- Palate
- Smooth at start but dries up on ginger and chilli. The spicy tanginess is quite numbing.
- Finish
- Dry, spicy with a leaf note.
- Comment
- The nose has got some complexity but the palate is overwhelmed and overdried by spices. It needs water.

- Nose
- Humidors and fresh green tobacco leaves. There is a floral note, almost daffodils. White chocolate.
- Palate
- Opens slowly the hits with a very spicy edge.
- Finish
- Dry and crisp.
- Comment
- An outdoor dram certainly for this time of year. Warming in the cold.
