Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Softly fragrant. Toasted marshmallows and chocolate.
Palate
Spritzy freshness. Seville oranges. Toast.
Finish
Hearty interplay of heather, gentle peat and pine-log smoke.
Comment
Seems restrained at first, but needs time to open up, at which point it becomes quite loqacious.

Dave Broom

Nose
Sweet. Vanilla, raspberry ripple, soft grain. Floral (daffodil). Attractive.
Palate
Fragrant and soft-centred with blossom, dry hay, juicy apricot notes, vanilla. Rounded. Good balance.
Finish
Nutmeg. Long, gentle.
Comment
A very sound, approachable and pretty classy blend.
