- Perfumed. Ripe pear. Delicate nuttiness. Lemony. Freshly varnished wood. Pleasant fruity bouquet. Releases more citrus fruit with water.
- Palate
- Smooth to start with then quickly drying on spices. Slightly austere.
- Finish
- Minty and spicy. Lingering with a dry edge.
- Comment
- Attractive nose but a wee more restrained palate than expected.

85- Nose
- Stylish and mature. Lemon zest, dried pear, cereal, cream, pie crust honeycomb, sealing wax, parma violet. Deepens and mellows in time. Lightly oily with a touch of smoke.
- Palate
- Soft and gentle, with raspberry notes and a creamy edge. Crisps up nicely in the mid-palate.
- Finish
- Creamy and soft.
- Comment
- A very classy blend. Recommended.
