Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Perfumed. Ripe pear. Delicate nuttiness. Lemony. Freshly varnished wood. Pleasant fruity bouquet. Releases more citrus fruit with water. Palate Smooth to start with then quickly drying on spices. Slightly austere. Finish Minty and spicy. Lingering with a dry edge. Comment Attractive nose but a wee more restrained palate than expected.

Dave Broom Nose Stylish and mature. Lemon zest, dried pear, cereal, cream, pie crust honeycomb, sealing wax, parma violet. Deepens and mellows in time. Lightly oily with a touch of smoke. Palate Soft and gentle, with raspberry notes and a creamy edge. Crisps up nicely in the mid-palate. Finish Creamy and soft. Comment A very classy blend. Recommended.
