- Nose
- Greater use of sherry here. Darker impression: stewed Seville orange, raisin, dried banana chips, cranberry. Smooth, deep and syrupy with heavy florals and a little rosewater.
- Palate
- Lighter than nose suggests. Plump fruit, tayberry, plum and ginger.
Gentle grip and more of a rich deep mid-palate.
- Finish
- Lingering and smooth.
- Comment
- Clean, unctuous and ripe. Seamless.
- Nose
- A shift in shades from the 12: everything has a little more depth. Cooked oranges, cherry pie. Trail mix too, dried apricots, pineapples.
- Palate
- The fruit from the nose comes through in waves, ginger compote and
raspberry jam.
- Finish
- Excellent length.
- Comment
- Plenty of character and well balanced.
