- Nose
- Oaky. Rubbery. Sulphur note with a butyric touch. Pepper dust. Hint of
crème caramel.
- Palate
- Sweet. Raisins and dates. The sulphury note from the nose comes through and lingers, unfortunately.
- Finish
- Dry, sulphury.
- Comment
- A tired sherry cask? Or a tyred one? A rubbery profile which does not release much, apart from dour sulphury notes. Water does not help.

- Nose
- Cinder toffee, hints of treacle. Wood vanillas come through. There is a little
burnt match too.
- Palate
- Sweet up front fading to dried fruits. The cinder toffee comes through.
- Finish
- Dry with raisins.
- Comment
- The oloroso hints are great but seem to get lost in other elements. Decent
enough though.
