Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Very aromatic. Distinctive. Fresh. Lavender. Ferny. Peat smoke. Palate Soft but insistent smokiness over a clean, sweetly malty background. Finish Creamy, with a savoury note reminiscent of seaweedy pretzels. Comment Bowmore is a great malt. let's see more of it in straightforward ages.

Marcin Miller Nose Complex and fresh scented. Lightly maritime. Concentrated light honey flavours and maple syrup when reduced. Palate Maritime. Pretty friable; the addition of water doesn't help. Finish Very short and drying. Comment Confusing. Lightness of nose is contradicted by strident palate. It promises a lot but doesn't deliver.
