Nose
Luscious fruitiness. Apricot jam, trifle, marzipan, almond and pear tart. A winey note hovering over that temptating bakery selection. Orange blossom. Palate
Malty and fruity. Lightbodied. Raisins, scones. Cherry jam. Red apple. Muscat grape. Finish
Soothing, fruity. Rather short. Comment
A real finesse, some thinness too. But Twiggy was a popular model in her time, wasn’t she?
Dave Broom
Nose
Slightly indistinct without water. Soft, gentle and nutty. Palate
Delivers much more than on the distant nose. Quite a thick feel balanced by fragrant top notes, balanced oak and a Nutella like crispness. Balanced oak. Finish
Dark chocolate. Comment
Fair balance.
