- Delicate. Slips down like a freshly shucked oyster. Sweet, then smoky, then toasty.

- Sharply appetising acidity.

- With smoked salmon and a squeeze of lemon.

- Cooked fruit, light medicinal notes, fish oil, black olives in brine, dried seaweed. Vanilla.
- Palate
- Layered flavours. Starts sweet (banana) then Savlon, seaweed, tar-covered pebbles, with perfumed smoke on top. Balanced.
- Finish
- Tarry. Peat.
- Comment
- Good balance between heavy phenols and sweet creamy oak. Along, generous, palate filler.
