Nose
Perfumy, floral. Clover. Elderflower. A touch of acacia honey. Frangipani flower. Touch of malt syrup. Gets biscuity. All very appetising. Palate
Sweet, intriguing. Flavours coil up in a sensuous herbal aromatic display. Finish
Warm and tender, gingery, with a sweet touch of liquorice. Water reveals peat and smoke. Comment
Forget your herbal tea. Go for this fantastic Islay potion!
Michael Jackson
Nose
Green bananas. Tending to dryness with some icing sugar and menthol. Palate
Tart. Good balance between initial sweetness and later sharp notes. Water releases some fruitiness. Finish
Soft and slightly papery. Some very late fennel-like bitterness. Comment
Somehow, fails to progress into anything really characterful.
