- Nose
- Perfumy, floral. Clover. Elderflower. A touch of acacia honey. Frangipani flower. Touch of malt syrup. Gets biscuity. All very appetising.
- Palate
- Sweet, intriguing. Flavours coil up in a sensuous herbal aromatic display.
- Finish
- Warm and tender, gingery, with a sweet touch of liquorice. Water reveals peat and smoke.
- Comment
- Forget your herbal tea. Go for this fantastic Islay potion!

- Nose
- Green bananas. Tending to dryness with some icing sugar and menthol.
- Palate
- Tart. Good balance between initial sweetness and later sharp notes. Water releases some fruitiness.
- Finish
- Soft and slightly papery. Some very late fennel-like bitterness.
- Comment
- Somehow, fails to progress into anything really characterful.
