- Nose
- Light but tangy. Lemon zest, dry hay. Lemon grass. Fresh and lively.
- Palate
- Malty, sweet. Cereal bowl. Grassy. Garden mint. White peaches. Pleasant mouthfeel.
- Finish
- Rather short but clean.
- Comment
- A straightforward refreshing dram. To be sipped on a summer afternoon. I would easily drop one or two ice cubes in my glass.

- Nose
- Not especially forthcoming. Tends to flat, dusty caramel notes. Waxy and minty.
- Palate
- Sweet and salty. Warming and gingery. Unexpected but definite coastal touches – iodine?
- Finish
- Firm, chewy and ever so slightly phenolic.
- Comment
- Uninspiring nose more than compensated for by challenging and surprising palate. Appetising.
