Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Heavy, buttery. Melting cheese. Quite unidimensional and restrained. Dry cider. Palate Sweet with a velvety feel. Oily. Malt teasers. Cereal bowl. Nescafé. Finish Tangy, chewed stalk. Comment Not a very exciting whisky. Too edgy. Not delivering much on the palate. And lacking finesse. A bland cask?

Dave Broom Nose Plain, as if little has passed by way of conversation between cask and spirit. Lime, chalk dust. Little grubby with water. Palate Very light even fragile running scared down the middle of the tongue. Finish Simply disappears. Comment A whisky on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
