- Nose
- Heavy, buttery. Melting cheese. Quite unidimensional and restrained. Dry cider.
- Palate
- Sweet with a velvety feel. Oily. Malt teasers. Cereal bowl. Nescafé.
- Finish
- Tangy, chewed stalk.
- Comment
- Not a very exciting whisky. Too edgy. Not delivering much on the palate. And lacking finesse. A bland cask?

- Nose
- Plain, as if little has passed by way of conversation between cask and spirit. Lime, chalk dust. Little grubby with water.
- Palate
- Very light even fragile running scared down the middle of the tongue.
- Finish
- Simply disappears.
- Comment
- A whisky on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
