- Nose
- Toffee and fudge. Malty. Barley sugar. Fresh mash. Apple skin. White chocolate.
- Palate
- Round. Alcohol is perfectly integrated. Sweet maltiness developing on fruity flavours. Ripe bananas. Tickling spices. Ginger, a hint of tabasco.
- Finish
- Spicy, nutty.
- Comment
- A classic malty beast. Well balanced. A winter warmer to enjoy with nuts and crispy nibbles.

- Nose
- Slighty oily, cut grass powdered almond. A discreet vetiver like scent develops but that turpentine note never quite disappears.
- Palate
- Oily in texure, clinging to the tongue mandarin. Light creaminess. Delicate.
- Finish
- Rice crispies.
- Comment
- An aperitif best taken by 10am. Has identifiable Linkwood character but it's all rather muted.
