Michael Jackson
Nose
Sweet and honeyish, but with hints of malt and smoke.
Palate
Orangey at first, then lemon peel and aniseed.
Finish
Delicately whiskyish. Suggestions of Speyside.
Comment
Substantially darker, bigger, fruitier, drier, firmer, more structured and less syrupy than the Drambuie without the ribbon.

Nose
A heady dose of mixed herbs and spices, with aniseed, juniper and cloves sticking to a cloying, vaguely honeyed sweetness. Hello? Where’s the whisky?
Palate
Massively sweet and, for me, unbearable.
Finish
Sugar, sugar, sugar, then a vague, almost pleasant bitterness on the very finish.
Comment
Sorry, not my cup of tea. The 15 Years Old whisky wasted in this has become an irrelevance against the surging sweetness.
