- Sweet and honeyish, but with hints of malt and smoke.
- Palate
- Orangey at first, then lemon peel and aniseed.
- Finish
- Delicately whiskyish. Suggestions of Speyside.
- Comment
- Substantially darker, bigger, fruitier, drier, firmer, more structured and less syrupy than the Drambuie without the ribbon.

- A heady dose of mixed herbs and spices, with aniseed, juniper and cloves sticking to a cloying, vaguely honeyed sweetness. Hello? Where's the whisky?
- Palate
- Massively sweet and, for me, unbearable.
- Finish
- Sugar, sugar, sugar, then a vague, almost pleasant bitterness on the very finish.
- Comment
- Sorry, not my cup of tea. The 15 Years Old whisky wasted in this has become an irrelevance against the surging sweetness.
