Nose
Flowery, light and scented. Distinctive nuttiness. Juicy apples. Restrained spices (nutmeg). Palate
Smooth and mellow. Good balance. Lots of marzipan. Finish
Unexpectedly dry, rather short. Crisp, slightly bitter. Warms up with spicy notes. Comment
To be served with an apple and hazelnut crumble. Classic, nothing really exciting, but a good Speyside character.
Dave Broom
Nose
A real nut-bowl aroma: almond, hazelnut and some creamy brazil, as well as a hint of marzipan and wholemeal maltiness. In time a toffee note. Mid-weight. Palate
Lovely weight and feel with a spicy nuttiness. Softens as it moves in the mouth. Finish
Nutty with decent length. Comment
A good, mid-weight nutty style.
