- Nose
- Flowery, light and scented. Distinctive nuttiness. Juicy apples. Restrained spices (nutmeg).
- Palate
- Smooth and mellow. Good balance. Lots of marzipan.
- Finish
- Unexpectedly dry, rather short. Crisp, slightly bitter. Warms up with spicy notes.
- Comment
- To be served with an apple and hazelnut crumble. Classic, nothing really exciting, but a good Speyside character.

- Nose
- A real nut-bowl aroma: almond, hazelnut and some creamy brazil, as well as a hint of marzipan and wholemeal maltiness. In time a toffee note. Mid-weight.
- Palate
- Lovely weight and feel with a spicy nuttiness. Softens as it moves in the mouth.
- Finish
- Nutty with decent length.
- Comment
- A good, mid-weight nutty style.
