Michael Jackson Nose A basket of breakfast breads, but in what country? Evokes memories of soda bread in Ireland, cherry muffins in Washington state. buttery croissants in Paris. Palate Warmed brioches. Chewy. Sweet without being cloying. Becoming drier. Slightly herbal. Focaccia with rosemary, Sophisticated. Finish Extraordinarily long. Teasing. Comment Ascetic. Complex. Cosmopolitan.

Dave Broom Nose Elegant and mature with a spicy attack, some coconut. With water, there’s milk chocolate, charred smokiness over apricot juiciness. Palate More wood smoke and ashes, kumquat, red apple, mixed nuts. Water makes it more tannic. Finish Tight. Comment Better on nose than palate where it’s just tipping over into the woody stage. Good though.
