Nose
Mint crème chocolates. Stem ginger. Liqueur chocolates. Palate
Caramel, rum, crystallised ginger. Finish
Roasted chestnuts, slightly scorched. Comment
Full flavours but slightly tired. A Lowlander for Christmas? Well, perhaps for Boxing Day.
Dave Broom
Nose
Rounded and toasty warm. Light bran, sweet digestive biscuit, choc ice. With water there’s dried grass balanced by soft fleshy fruits. Palate
Sweet start then crisp nutty varnished oak in the middle, then apricot juice towards the back. Finish

Eminently drinkable.
