- Mint crème chocolates. Stem ginger. Liqueur chocolates.
- Palate
- Caramel, rum, crystallised ginger.
- Finish
- Roasted chestnuts, slightly scorched.
- Comment
- Full flavours but slightly tired. A Lowlander for Christmas? Well, perhaps for Boxing Day.

- Nose
- Rounded and toasty warm. Light bran, sweet digestive biscuit, choc ice. With water there's dried grass balanced by soft fleshy fruits.
- Palate
- Sweet start then crisp nutty varnished oak in the middle, then apricot juice towards the back.
- Finish
- Slightly bitter. Black butter.
- Comment
- Eminently drinkable.
