- Sweetish seaweed.
- Palate
- Lightly creamy. Viscous. Creamed spinach with toasted almonds.
- Finish
- Sweet lemons. Sea salt.
- Comment
- A surprisingly sweet expression of Clynelish. Lots of flavour and plenty of charm.

- Oily/waxy with dried apricot, vanilla, heather, wild herbs and mink oil. A touch of light peatiness. With water it louches like absinthe. Beautiful, but slightly alarming.
- Palate
- Medium-bodied, but a real mouthfiller which coats and clings to the palate. There's smoke, that lovely oiliness and a fruity sweetness. Ripe, rich.
- Finish
- Dry, peppery and long.
- Comment
- A top example from one of the greats.
