- Dried sweet spice. Some vanilla. This too has a hard,sawdusty edge as if the wood isn't not yet quite fully integrated. When it opens there's a touch of wax,a little Ovaltine and light honey.
- Palate
- Tingling and clean,light smoke then grass. Chewy,nutty and light.
- Finish
- Short and clean.
- Comment
- A pretty dram.

- A complex mix,this:A nice surge of clean and fresh malt,a zesty lemon and sour and sour apple,all underlaid by some savoury and spice notes.

- Clean and full,with some savouriness on a peat bed.
- Comment
- Very impressive mix of whisky styles.
