Aromatic and juicy. Lusciously honeyed with sawdusty oak and fruit, vanilla and hyacinth. Complex with hints of green apple, grape, lime and earth. Malty, there is a little graininess.
Drier with more tannin than the nose, less of the exotic fruit but still quite honeyed and malty. Lightly earthy with damp dunnage floors and loam. Citrus runs through adding balance, the grain is well hidden.
Long, mouth-watering and very citric with liquorice and a touch of tar in the finish.
A lovely matured blend. The oldest of the six and the most complex.
