Nose
Fruits, whole and unpeeled. The aromas of a greengrocer's shop. Grapes. Palate
Soft but rounded. Sliced cooking apple. Hazelnuts. Finish
Becoming hotter, sharper. Some tannin. A touch of woody dryness. Comment
Quite engaging, but just past its best.
Dave Broom
Nose
Starts with linseed oil/play-dough, then becomes buttery with light marzipan, dried orange peel and some apricot jam. Wood oils, peanut and a tickle of smoke. Pretty. Palate
Clean and light. Parma violet. Sweet centre with dry oak and a concentrated mid-palate. Finish
Fades a little quickly. Comment
A little simple, but again a perfectly pleasant whisky.
