Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Complex mix of ripe peachy fruit, baked banana, fruit smoothie, orange peel/blossom. Light nuttiness/malt, cream. Water adds weight and brings out extra maturity and depth. Palate Rich with good impact, slightly dry, then tingling spices. Heavy and quite explosive. Once again, it deepens (and dries slightly) with water. Finish Long, rich, cooked peach. Comment Has the X factor.

Arthur Motley Nose Fizzy oranginess, steamed apple pudding, furniture polish, sherbert and mixed peel. Comb honey, fresh and perfectly ripe pears. Palate Complex. Finish Christmas pudding with flaming alcohol, and burnt twigs. Comment Right in so many ways: balanced but stimulating, challenging but comforting. It reminded me of Clynelish.
