- Nose
- Sweet and sour. Gooseberry. Cranberry. Blancmange. A juicy fruit smoothie. Gets creamy in time. Apple toffee.
- Palate
- Smooth. An appetising sweetness releasing fruity flavours. Touch of blackcurrant.
- Finish
- Pleasantly drier. Fresh liquorice.
- Comment
- A well knitted dram. On the fruit side. More complex than it appears. Oak is well integrated. A pity such a treasure is lost!

- Nose
- Salicylic top notes. Celery? Furniture polish.
- Palate
- Chalky and thin. Chipboard. Dusty.
- Finish
- Not unpleasant. Wine like. Grape seeds?
- Comment
- Has some strange (and compelling) woody flavours. Not entirely unpleasant. If you can, try before you buy.
