70
- Nose
- Marzipan.
- Palate
- Lightly smooth. Sweetish, but well balanced. Almondy. Clean.
- Finish
- Rounded.
- Comment
- Pleasant. Easy drinking for a pre-bourbon novice. Perhaps a little unfair to judge it in this company.
70
- Nose
- Fragrant and soft with vanilla/custard notes and spicy wood.
- Palate
- Soft. Flows nicely across the palate.
- Finish
- A little prickle, but far too mild-mannered to annoy.
- Comment
- All very pleasant, but a pretty one-dimensional experience. No-one could be offended by this, but no-one will be excited either.
