Nose
Assertive oak, cherry and lots of coconut. Light and clean with some lemon thyme, dried oregano, cinnamon balls and geranium.
Palate
Cocoa powder and overall quite dusty. Wood is having a fair say on a pretty light distillate. Doesn't like water.
Finish
Clean with light spices.
Comment
After years of being a Kentucky whiskey, Early Times moves back into the bourbon world. Young, sound and light.

Nose
Estery. Floral. Hyacinth. Hint of paint varnish. In time, that off note disappears. Develops on nutty and biscuit aromas.
Palate
Crisp, dry. Oaky flavours. Toffee and chocolate. Quite pleasant.
Finish
Medium. Soothing toffee notes. Parma violet at the back.
Comment
A tantalising bourbon. Good combination of oaky and pastry notes..
