There is a meaty hint to this at first, Oxo cubes. It moves into more sweeter territory after a while, spun sugar and Demerara. There is a hint of spice too.
At first egg tart, nutmeg, custard, cream and a little malt note. The oak grips the tongue and there are spices at the back of the tongue.
Dry but complex.
A well balanced whisky with a lot going on.
