- Nose
- Tense, slightly green and smoky. The impression is marine: grey sea salt,
ozone, as well chalk/dusty pebbles, cow shed. With water, moist peat and
rooty, angelica-like notes.
- Palate
- Very oily palate. Both tongue-clinging and explosive: sweet chilli sauce, yellow fruits and a real sweetness in the centre as the marine notes fly around.
- Finish
- Long, smoky.
- Comment
- Vibrant and full of character. Best neat.

- Nose
- Earthy, fresh dug peat, hints of TCP and iodine. Heavily smoked salmon. That fungal edge hides kiwi fruit skin.
- Palate
- Warm with heavy peat notes. A touch of vanilla, almost tablet, honey sweet
and ginger.
- Finish
- Warming and long.
- Comment
- One for the hip flask for a seaside walk.
