Nose
Tense, slightly green and smoky. The impression is marine: grey sea salt, ozone, as well chalk/dusty pebbles, cow shed. With water, moist peat and rooty, angelica-like notes.
Palate
Very oily palate. Both tongue-clinging and explosive: sweet chilli sauce, yellow fruits and a real sweetness in the centre as the marine notes fly around.
Finish
Long, smoky.
Comment
Vibrant and full of character. Best neat.

Nose
Earthy, fresh dug peat, hints of TCP and iodine. Heavily smoked salmon. That fungal edge hides kiwi fruit skin.
Palate
Warm with heavy peat notes. A touch of vanilla, almost tablet, honey sweet and ginger.
Finish
Warming and long.
Comment
One for the hip flask for a seaside walk.
