- Nose
- Phenolic. Creosote. Wet seaweeds. Tar. Wet dog. Some citrus fruit in the back. Getting smokier on time. Opening on spices and roots. Galanga, nutmeg.
- Palate
- Oily. Very sweet and smooth. So surprising for a high strength ! “Pastilles du mineur” (tar and liquorice cough lozenges). A slight cardboard note.
- Finish
- Smooth, lemony.
- Comment
- A sweet islander. Can be enjoyed without water.

- Nose
- Initially, there's peppermint followed by a little clove. A vibrant attack that's
tempered by butteriness and smoke.
- Palate
- Gorgeously balanced smoke and that essential element in peaty whiskies - sweetness. The oil of clove medicinal elements take you to the dentist rather than the hospital.
- Finish
- Lime and fresh fish - ceviche anyone?
- Comment
- Young but already with such balance. Recommended stuff.
