- Nose
- The colour is so pale that one expects a very young lad. The nose confirms. Clean new make. Smoke and some sweetness. Mint, aniseed. Quite grassy.
- Palate
- Sweet maltiness wrapped in smoke. Quite palatable neat but of course, the
alcohol is perceptible.
- Finish
- Short, clean.
- Comment
- So difficult to score an infant ! All I can say is that there is a potential.

- Nose
- Young but there is some character here. Alcohol prickle, but water brings doused bonfires, buttered kippers and a hint of spices.
- Palate
- There smoke is here but with a cereal edge, sort of malt loaf and coal tar
soap. There is some oak sweetness too.
- Finish
- Crisp and refreshing.
- Comment
- Will be interesting to see how this develops, from a decent starting point.
