- Nose
- Soft and sweet but with a green edginess. More eucalyptus. Some herbal notes, baked bread, allspice, mint. Higher levels of wood sugars, but also pea pods, light anise.
- Palate
- Soft and fragrant again the eucalypt/laurel note mixed with jalapeno heat to start. Sweet centred though with good grip. A pomegranate/sumac like sourness, then spices ramp up.
- Finish
- Clean and zesty.
- Comment
- Improved with water. Restrained again with an edgier character than the 89.
- Nose
- There's a herbal edge to this with hints of menthol. Green grass and fresh picked runner beans. Camphor shaving cream.
- Palate
- Starts off soft and gentle then the spices kick in quite late. Wonderful grip. A little fresh chilli heat and bitterness.
- Finish
- That chilli seed heat stays with you.
- Comment
- Feels like its holding something back right to the end then it slugs you one.
