- Nose
- The biggest and darkest so far with more fungal notes. Some sandalwood and light leathery notes. Big extract. Shows age and substance. Drying grass, little yew then into black cherry, nutty oak.
- Palate
- Soft and gentle (in a burly way). Biggest grip so far, shifting into molasses. Seems sweeter as well. Red fruits and a hint of sweet peach underneath.
- Finish
- Only now does the rye spiciness appear.
- Comment
- Solidly built and huge. A different style.
- Nose
- Blackberries and sweet cherries, almost blueberrys. Very complex. That mint hint again with some leather. Honeycomb crunch with a slight hint of mushrooms.
- Palate
- Very sweet, the rye really comes through. Hints of caramel and peaches, strawberries. Loads of treacle and burnt sugar.
- Finish
- Spicy and hot.
- Comment
- More like a rye than anything.
