- Nose
- Moist soft toffee mixed with turmeric, wet leaves. Lightly nutty, then a touch of vanilla custard and black butter. Fat and round with some green edges.
- Palate
- Broad and the best integration of the spicy element. Broad and mature,
those leathery notes reappear, but with an expressive wild nature. The rye is there but is held slightly in check by the rich and yes honeyed palate... until the finish. With water there's lemon balm and some pepperiness.
- Finish
- Highly spiced.
- Comment
- Big and bold.
- Nose
- Soft. Like a humidor or grass compost. Damp moss. Some toffee with a
distinct herbal quality.
- Palate
- Huge spice hit full of rye pep,but balanced with leather and honey.
There is citrus here too.
- Finish
- Delightfully spicy.
- Comment
- This one will make you sit up and notice it.
