- Nose
- A significant departure from the ‘96. Broad. Sweet fresh citrus (clementine) some felt, light ginger, nutmeg, cooling camphor and florals. Still that signature honey.
- Palate
- Gentle, soft and tongue-coating. Some rye notes but also the florals that have been hidden since the '89. Sage, maraschino, then toffee. Pure.
- Finish
- Lightly dusted.
- Comment
- More ordered after the '96. Perfumed.
- Nose
- This has that honey note really at the fore but then this is balanced by a real citrus edge, orange and lemon peels. Floral and a little spice.
- Palate
- Lovely and soft. Glides across the tongue. More floral perfume notes come through together with fudge and a little custard.
- Finish
- Coating.
- Comment
- Very integrated and together.
