- Initial copper notes, briefly sweetening with spun sugar. Then intensifying to dark chocolate.
- Palate
- Substantial in the mouth, with caramel and dry sherry.
- Finish
- Shorter than expected. Fruitier with water though.
- Comment
- A decent addition to the Famous Grouse flight.

- Warming radiators, candy floss, fruity salad, glacé cherries and a touch of dark soy sauce.
- Palate
- Big and bold, toffe and hazelnuts with dried fruits and raisins.
- Finish
- Brief but quite engaging.
- Comment
- A lovely example of twist from the original. One request: set it free from the distillery please.
