75- Nose
- More assertively smoky.
- Palate
- Smoother, richer, sweeter.
- Finish
- Spicier. More peppery. Seaweed more iron-like.
- Comment
- Has mellowed with the extra years, but, as is sometimes the case with island malts, it seemed happier with the vigour of youth.

- Intense, smooth. Shellfish, wet seaweed. Sea aromas soon give way to biscuity notes. Vanilla, honey, marzipan. Toasted almonds.
- Palate
- Round, velvety. Sweet mouthfeel like creamy fudge. Coconut milk. The smokiness drifts away very quickly. Becomes syrupy with water.
- Finish
- Long; drier, spicier than the 17 Years Old.
- Comment
- Same sweetness as the 17, but coastal aromas fade quickly. Distinct woodiness.
