- Rounded. Soft fruit paste, some sweet wood, hot bracken and a note akin to cheesecake.
- Palate
- Sweet American oak - cream fudge. Rounded and soft with water.
- Finish
- Clean and short.
- Comment
- Perfectly OK, but a bit whisky by numbers.

- Rich and buttery. Butterscotch. Greengage jam. Elegant grain note. Sweet, with a good integration of wood and oak. Some depth.
- Palate
- Round, appetising. Toffee, salted butter caramel. Hint of marzipan. Some fruit too. Oranges with a pinch of cinnamon.
- Finish
- Warm, creamy. Slightly nutty.
- Comment
- Appetising, pudding-like but not over-sweet. Well balanced. To enjoy with a Dundee cake.
