Rosehip syrup, bramble and apple tea, and rhubarb. Exotic wood and has a lovely waxiness like rose flavoured lip balm.
Paradise cake made with raspberry jam, almonds, cherries and walnuts. Tea soaked fruits, caramel and some savoury notes emerge, like hoisin sauce and soy.
Soft and melting, takes its time.
I loved this for the subtle and delicious flavours. Masterly

Aromas of gentle, waxy orange and treacle-toffee coated dried fruit. Sherry blankets the nose and a slight herbal ‘spirit' note comes through. The emphasis is definitely on the cask though.
A little simple on the palate, again a reasonable degree of treacly dried fruit along with a touch of herbal eaux-de-vie. The oak begins to bitter but the developing oils counter.
A continuation of the dried fruit theme with a touch of liquorice and treacle becoming apparent. Pleasant, lightly spiced after-taste.
Canadian? I'd never have guess that under all that oak..
