Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Nutty (almonds), cookie-gingery, sweet.
Palate
Orange blossom. Creamed corn. Toffee.
Finish
Light, crisp, toasty. Spicy. Rye.
Comment
In palate, the closer of the two to the Canadian tradition. Wins points for that attribute. I could drink quite a few of these.

Dave Broom

Nose
Young, with spicy oak, orange peel, a hint of lemon and a whiff of tobacco.
Palate
Soft, chewy butterscotch with a positive spicy kick from the rye on the back palate.
Finish
Orange.
Comment
Young and not quite fully mature but worth watching. Nelly Furtado.
