- Nose
- A candy floss sweetness with some green plum, lemon balm, eucalyptus and oak. Water brings out a cinnamon note and garrigue like herbs. Good balance.
- Palate
- Perfumed, silky and sweet in the centre with fizzing spices. Good succulent flow which balances the perfumed notes with spice and toffee apple. Better with water. Great balance.
- Finish
- Tight and spicy, some cherry.
- Comment
- Sugar and spice and all things nice.

- Nose
- Spicy and fruity. All spice, cubèbe pepper, touch of caraway. Date chutney. A rich dried fruit sweetness tones down the wood grip.
- Palate
- Deceiving. The sweetness promised by the nose is not here. Very sour. Like old cider.
- Finish
- Much nicer than midpalate.
- Comment
- A teasing nose but a dour profile on the palate. Too old? Bad wood? Water enhances the spices and masks the sourness.
