Dave Broom

Nose: Upfront and rich. Classic aromatic bourbon notes of cinnamon balls. Water brings up visions of sucking cherry sweets while driving down a dusty highway.
Palate: Perfumed start,all roses and talcum powder. Quite dry but there's sufficient central sweetness to carry.
Finish: Pacharan.
Comment: The perfumed aspect might not appeal to all,but the balance on this is great. Recommended.

Martine Nouet

Nose: Oakyand floral. Polished floor. Turkish delight.Chestnut purée. Sandalwood. Praline chocolate in the back. Quite complex. A rye sourness combined with sweet pastry notes.
Palate: Sweet but quite bony as well. A rich exotic character. Guava,lime,and a perfumy flavour (vétiver?)
Finish: Long,rich,.oaky, peppery.
Comment: A complex and rich bourbon. Not too sweet, characterful with an exotic profile. Very interesting.
