Nose
Tangy, quite spirity. Water releases tender fruity notes of ripe pear. Hint of fresh oak. Palate
Very fruity. Reminds me of a pear eau-de-vie. Juicy. Vanilla. Unexpectedly soft on the palate. Finish
Quickly fades, a slight bitterness. Comment
Frisky to say the least! The palate is much more talkative and pleasant than the nose. Would be great in a granite with strawberries.
Dave Broom
Nose
Young and clean. Light lemon, orange zest, cocoa, apricot. Harder edge with water (fishmonger's slab?). Palate
Very citric with a smooth fruit syrup mouthfeel. Dries as it moves becoming bracken-like. Finish
Dry. A little hot, even when dilute. Comment
Has firm and sweet elements but they're not linked.
