- Nose
- Flowering currant. Herbal. Briar-like.
- Palate
- Smooth. Starts sweet and buttery. Crème brûlée? Then lemon zest. Lemon pith dryness.
- Finish
- Slightly clovey, warming. Soothing. Long and buttery.
- Comment
- Not as smoky and char-like as I remember. Very enjoyable, but less obviously Tennessean.

- Nose
- Spicy yet soft, like apple pie, lemon cakes, honey with cloves, geraniums. Light twang of rye.
- Palate
- Mid-weight. As the nose suggests a spicy, complex, chewy number that's fragrant/floral with apple, lime blossom, ginger/cinnamon, tobacco.
- Finish
- Very clean with a nice touch of apple pie crust.
- Comment
- A Doc Watson of a whiskey, mild-mannered but full of tricks. Please UDV, start pushing it!
