Nose
Clean and lifted. Old orange peel, geranium, custard then sesame and dried mango. Slightly too edgy oak. Palate
More impact than you expect. Soft feel, fresh pineapple, cherry, light spice. Finish
Clean quite short. Comment
There’s a restrained quality about all of these. Amusing lunchtime companions.
Martine Nouet
Nose
Malty and fruity. Muësli. Lemon drops. Candyfloss. Poached rhubarb. Opens on herbal notes. Verbena, green tea. Palate
Silky, gently flowing on the tongue. Lovely fresh feel. Light fruit. Hint of tangerine juice and pineapple juice. And possibly guawa. Finish
Delicate but reasonably long. Herbal notes. Comment
Another well knitted dram. Obviously under bourbon influence. The exotic hint is “gourmande”.
